tired of feeling tired all the time? or like you’re on a rollercoaster ride throughout the day? one minute you’re buzzing with energy, the next you can hardly keep your eyes open. SAVE this video for later and SHARE with a friend who might appreciate it!
🎢
it might be that you’re experiencing blood sugar dysregulation! some other symptoms include mood swings, insatiable hunger, strong sugar cravings, weight fluctuations, dizziness, heart palpitations, brain fog, hormonal imbalances, and more. any of these sound familiar?
🧐
over time, blood sugar spikes wreak havoc on the body. that’s why it’s crucial to focus on balancing your blood sugar. how can this be done? here are a few simple tips!
🥕
- eat every 3-4 hours.
- balance your meals + snacks with protein/carbs/fat to keep you feeling full and energized without a crash.
- prioritize at least 30g protein per meal.
🌱
by simply eating consistently as well as avoiding “naked” carbs (pair them with protein and healthy fats), you’ll keep your levels steady and avoid those midday crashes!
☕️
in my journey, i also started prioritizing a filling, protein-rich breakfast, and waited to drink coffee either with or after my food. this helped me level out those anxious jitters and find a more stable source of energy.
💪🏻
not only will these tips help you feel more energized and focused, but balancing your blood sugar can also improve chronic health conditions like PCOS, anxiety, hypothyroidism, and diabetes, to name a few!
✨
questions? have you tried implementing any of these tips and noticed a difference? leave a comment! 👇🏻 #bloodsugarbalance
TIP #2: practice quality sleep hygiene 🛌 this o TIP #2: practice quality sleep hygiene 🛌 this one can be so difficult depending on your stage of life, but implementing small shifts on things within your control makes a significant difference.
😴
i used to sleep 4 hours a night and say things like “i’ll sleep when i’m dead,” but now I realize how silly that was. 8-9 hours is ideal. we all know sleep is ESSENTIAL for your brain and body, and practicing habits like these can help:
☁️
sleep and wake at consistent times daily if you can. limit screen time 1 hour before bed (use warm filters or blue light blocking glasses). keep your room cool and 100% dark. invest in a quality toxin-free mattress and bedding.
🌙
if you’re experiencing sleep disruption, it can be helpful to look for the deeper root cause and ask questions: are you eating enough throughout the day so your liver has enough stored energy (glycogen) to get you through the night? have you tried eating a balanced bedtime snack if you’re hungry? do you have mineral deficiencies or imbalances? are your stress levels off the charts? could you have a tongue tie or airway issues? addressing underlying factors can help improve your sleep quality and energy levels dramatically.

ready for the first step? (be sure to save this po ready for the first step? (be sure to save this post for later and follow for part 2!) let’s start with the foundations:
1️⃣
NOURISH YOUR CELLS. eat real, whole foods — and eat enough. (most grown women should be eating at LEAST 1,800 calories minimum!) give your body the fuel it needs with nutrient-dense meals and snacks. it can be simple and doesn’t have to be fancy or expensive!
🍳
starting the day with a balanced breakfast (full of protein, carbs, fats, vitamins, and minerals) helps reduce cortisol levels, balance hormones, and give you the energy you need to get through the day!
☕️
PRO TIP: try waiting to drink coffee until you’ve eaten! drinking coffee on an empty stomach is kind of like trying to drive your car faster with an empty tank. balancing your favorite morning drink with food will help reduce those caffeine jitters and give you more steady energy throughout the day. (i used to skip breakfast and survive on coffee most of the day — and it was ROUGH. i feel so much better after implementing these things!)
